My Day, A Haines in November Postcard

Began as always, with a walk for Pearl. (And my daughter's dog Madi. Phoebe barked at us from the porch.)

Then the Women's Club Holiday Bazaar and a chat with the ever inspiring John Svenson.

A few errands and walk number two after lunch. The wind had picked up and it was colder.

Then off to help decorate the library for next week's holiday open house.

Browsed a bit along the shelves, too. Libraries are  like cemeteries-- authors never quite know who we will be side-by-side with for eternity. By the last walk of the day it was blowing too hard for Pearl.

The eagle fest banquet with the astronaut was sold out, so I watched the last home volleyball game of the season. (The first was last night. How can this be? I don't know.)

The girls almost won, it went to five games. Now it's time for a sandwich, then put the hens to bed, stoke the stove, read more of  The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, and hope all three dogs don't climb on the bed after I fall asleep.. It brings a whole new meaning to three dog night.
