Chip and I are off to a quiet little town in Mexico today and I should be back at my desk in about three weeks. There will be sketchy internet where we are going, but I am choosing to ignore it and the only tablet I’m bringing has paper pages and requires a pen to write on. I think a vacation away from all distractions and devices every now and then is a good thing and I hope you agree. My friend Bobby used to call this a “media fast” and that was back when media only meant the local radio and newspaper. I appreciate so much that you read what I write, so thank you for understanding, and I’ll see you again when I return. (Yay! I’m kind of excited now that I’m really ‘off’ on vacation.)
