A Friend Sings

My friend Tony Tengs called today from Juneau, out of the blue, a blue moon gift, it seemed. Tony is a songwriting genius, find him and The Preserves at iTunes and have a listen. My current favorites are One Thing I Know,from the Wounded Dove CD and The Pakistani Happy Song, otherwise known as Soapy Rag at our house, from the How Excellent and Civilized are We CD, but you be the judge. Anyway, Tony called because he heard half of our family is in Juneau, waiting for Sarah’s baby, and wanted to see if we needed anything before he headed back out on the ferry he works on. It is a breezy but beautiful clear moonlit night. A lovely evening to be in a boat on the Inside Passage. No wonder Tony sings.
