A very busy day puppy sitting.. and another one just like it today.
Also, the Spring track meet was canceled because it is still mostly winter. But the prom is still on. Tonight is the fishermen’s splash at the pool from 7-9m fishing families and boaters can practice swimming with survival suits and pfds, tomorrow is the Chilkat River clean-up- meet at 9 am at the Hammer Museum- also at 9:15 you can walk and talk with Mario and his falcon on the golf course. (No dogs for this one.) There is an On-Farm food safety workshop at the school at 9am, too. Sunday is the ferry party 10-1 at the Port Chilkoot Dock, where the Malispina will be docking to celebrate 50 years of the Alaska Marine Highway. There is an ice cream social at HAL Sunday afternoon from 2-3:30, and the last Sunday open gym features a Dodge Ball blowout from 4-6 Sunday. The good news is that it is warmer. The bad news is it appears to be hurricane season.
